Colour codes are provided as a quick reference guide. Some centres require permits to access homelands, while others may only be accessible during the dry season. Given the remote situation of many communities and outlets, it is important to contact individual centres to discuss proposed visits, and it is advisable to check timetables again, closer to your intended visit. This includes centres and outlets identified as offering public access, as many are closed throughout January, and exhibition schedules and unforeseen circumstances may impact accessibility from time to time. Some centres may also offer private appointments outside advertised hours.
